It will be available only the name is changing so any updates that may be required for bugs for forks etc will most likely be added by those fork devs assuming they keep working on it
I do not like the name change. XBMC will always be XBMC despite its name change. Just like Rite Aid Drugs stores, to me it will always be Thrifty. Big Lots will always be Pick N Save. For some of us it'll be that way.
