And by that ridiculously Verizon-looking ad, I'm saying that IBM is in bed w/that arrogant company and this is only on Verizon.

We'll see...........

Lenovo is owned by the Chinese; it hasn't been "IBM" for a long time.

I would totally buy this phone but no sdcard = no purchase. It is that black and white for me. Disappointing as this could have been amazing.

I agree, but I don't see anything about storage at all, either here, in the PhoneArena article, or the teaser video from Lenovo, so you may be jumping the gun.

I am pretty sure my other android sites I visit have confirmed it has 32gb onboard storage with no sdcard. I could be mistaken, but I usually post comments here and not there so I apologize as I did make a comment based on another article. Also, since I have not seen the Lenovo site or seen the actual product you are correct I may be jumping the gun. Here is for hoping it does have expandable storage!

Damn, that'd be sad news, if you're right.

I hope I don't get in trouble for posting a link. And obviously I can't say this article is pure fact as of yet. But check it out:

Blackberry Passport will be released soon, much more secure than these data miners.

I fail to understand this obsession with SD card. Lenovo phones have had USB OTG for a while now. You already have 3 GB ram for all the software you need. There is probably 32 gb of on board storage. The phones I have seen here in India have phenomenal UI with such detailed settings possibility like turning off individual cores selectively. Just for your information a couple of days back a friend called me from a very noisy environment. From a railway station at peak hour where there was some road digging going on with very large air operated diggers/chisels I could hear him very clearly with all the background noise filtered out. He could hear me vary clearly with equal clarity with noise cancelling earphones! BTW his phone is 18 months old.

What I would be more concerned about is a removable battery !

Pmshah, then you simply don't use your phone the same way as those who want/need more space. In my case, just my ebooks alone take up 4.2 GB(6084 books o.O'), and that doesn't account for any videos/movies I happen to have on hand (which I do not convert, so they take up a lot of space) and game emulator ROMs (I run both ePSXe for PS1 games and PPSSPP for PSP; many people run many more emulators).

Remember, also, that you will NOT have access to that entire 32 GB of internal storage. Android, itself, will take up a sizable chunk of that.

I currently have 8 GB internal storage and 32 GB external (microSD) on my Galaxy S3, and it's never enough!
