Man sent to jail for Facebook posts of topless ex-girlfriend

article published on 4 December, 2014

Private Prisons in U.S. is a big business to steal money from the American Taxpayers via U.S. Contractors.
The Creation of this stupid laws & the Judges over sentences here in comparison to any country in the whole world, is just embarrassing for the U.S. Govt. and also to their Citizens for NO do anything about it, by letting the Govt. keep strapping from their rights.

Post pics. of a single person nude, is not porn.

P.S.

I just think we have enough laws already. We don't need the government rescuing people that have made stupid decisions. Sometimes people need to learn from their stupid decisions. Maybe next time they will think before letting someone take nudes or film them having sex.

facebook is nothing but drama as i have seen from friends i use it only to stay in contact with family and if i can u se other means. because i live so far away from them they can find other means to contact me. fcebook sux and so does the law we have people stealing money from compaies thats not there's.

The girl should have not let her ex take the pictures in the first place so part of it is her fault and the dumbness of him landed him in jail.

I can agree on the facebook drama crap. If any girl is stupid enough to let someone take a picture of her cooter, then she gets what she deserves.

So you think it's wrong that this guy was punished?

So you think people should be able to publically hurt, shame, defame, etc. others and there should be no recourse?

What it is wrong is that a simple Facebook posts of topless ex. IS NOT A PORN PIC, and the stupid California "new law" make it sound like it is.

Let say it is "Porn", the long time punishment (Sentence) is just plain ridiculous.
...and as the time goes bye more Judges alienate with the PROFITS of the private prisons. And their stupid long sentences, say it all.

Don't forget the word "Revenge" in there, this guy was using a picture they obviously took in private, for private purposes and was trying to get her Fired from her job. Along with causing her extreme embarrassment with her employer & co-workers, this can cause serious emotional harm, people have committed suicide over less.
His actions were not only rash, they were intended to harm both her and her reputation, he didn't get enough IMO.

"with the sole purpose of causing them distress",,so all they have to do is say they want to provide others some fapping material then it is not the "sole" purpose and the case is dismissed?

Porn has nothing to do with it.
Regardless of whether she was wise or not to let the pic be taken in the first place, the point is he is distributing something that he has no right to distribute (she did not give him permission to use his image).
Not only that, but using it in a malicious way to deliberately embarass and shame her and harm her employment prospects. That type of action can take years to repair the damage, if ever.

So I agree with this law and the sentence. He was being malicious and vindictive and deserves what he got. Loser.
