I just finished building a new computer. I'm ripping with DVDfab and burning with Nero 6. I purchased ahaead of time Ritek G04 (50 pack) one each of +r and -r. The first backup went rather well. In comparison the quality between the my origional store bought dvd and my copy was amazingly close if now perfect.

What I'd like to do is compare the video quality between the Ritek G04 and the Verbatim DataLife. Also I've seen the Verbatim DataLifePlus which I'm also considering since I've heard many good things about the Metal AZO issue.

If there's no quality difference between the Riteks and the Verbatim dvds there's no sence in wasting money on the Verbatims since they are more expensive.

In doing my dvd backups I'm more interested in quality rather than saving money. BTW I'd be interested in a high quality double-sided blank dvd. This way when backing up a movie longer than 2 hours I can still keep the entire movie on one disc. Thanks
