Unless I can download it and play from the computer it probably isn't worth trying to stream it. Gotta be able to watch it un interrupted. I realize I can buy it too, but ?

I am so glad Sony did the right thing and went ahead and released this film....the principal of free speech was threatened, but in the end, it seems free speech won.

The principal of Freedom of speech had nothing to do with it, the term "Liability" would be more appropriate. Its the simple fact with Hundreds of Millions already piling up with class actions from the leaked info, releasing a film in a bleeding heart nation that suffers repercussions Freedom of speech will be the last thing anyone is talking about while all fingers would be pointed at Sony with lawyers suiting up for a heyday. Then I ask you where would all these "Freedom of Speech" Supporters be? throwing there money at Sony to help bail them out? Exactly. Sony was practicing social responsibility by ensuring the safety of their consumers, and shareholders while limiting any more legal implications.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad they did in fact go through with it, but I would clearly understand if they hadn't.

This was always going to be released just delayed though I don't think it'd be worth the money to see.

No kidding eh...
Typical Franco over-acting job, probably even more than usual with this thing. It had some moments but for the most part it's a completely forget-able experience.
But it would have been brilliant if Sony had done all this hacking shite as a marketing ploy for the movie and then released it late saying they changed their minds about it. It's probably THE MOST talked about movie in history and I wouldn't doubt they'd have made over a billion $$$ on it if this was what they did.
Of course tho, once everyone found out how crappy it actually is, the crowds would taper off some...lol!
