According to new reports, Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai is open to selling the company's struggling mobile division. Besides a potential sale, there is also the possibility of a joint venture with another partner. Was it Sony entertainment division that crippled the hardware division. Every new product was crippled before it left the drawing board. Great products but crap restrictions on their use.

On the upside, they'll be releasing a high def portable audio player that will sell for around a thousand dollars. I'm sure those will just fly off of the shelves.
