Nvidia has announced the latest generation of their SHIELD series, introducing the "world's first 4K Android TV console." I just don't see this selling any noteworthy amount.......just as the Shield seems to have failed on any large(ish) scale this one probably will too.

Who really wants this garbage? I mean, Xbox One users likely don't, PS4 users likely don't, and certainly PC gamers won't touch this crap with a 10 foot pole.

Perhaps I'm wrong......unlikely though.

Not just for gaming but it could be used for watching streaming videos & movies.

Add app capability and you got a serious competitor for Apple TV & Roku.

I cant wait to get one.esp for watching and streaming series and movies .Iam not an American with 200 channels and all new series we in europe walk one year behind if its us series. Only hbo we get some the day after they air in the US .

I use a tronsmart s89-h now and the firmware is garbage. hdim solder problems wifi problems .

At least it has a powerfull soc and i have more trust in nvidia to update their software than the chineese android garbage there is on the market with all kind of problems. Maby a lot cheaper but no fun if your buzy the whole evening to get a movie on the screen
