AMD has another poor quarter as they continue restructuring efforts

article published on 19 April, 2015

AMD has reported another poor quarter as the company continues to restructure its core businesses. For the quarter, the company had revenue of $1.03 billion, a large 26.4 percent decrease year-over-year and the company had a net loss of $180 million. I can't agree more with you Bummer.

I remember when nvida was good, but that was a long long time ago, before the crap they pull off a few years back, 7 years back or so? Remember the lawsuit they lost for helping extend people's laptop batteries by slowing down or stopping the fans and ultimately burning out user's laptops? Or the issue for apple users ( i'm strictly a PC fan) but lost another lawsuit claiming a flaw in apple's architecture was the problem, all the while it was a defect in the nvida card... My memory is failing, I know there were 3 or other issues all where they lost various lawsuits for similar practices about the same level of unethical practices on nvidia's part, would be easy enough to dig up if needed, but not worth the effort, i still wouldn't ever want to buy any nvidia program after their past track record.
