help just updated dvd shrink and tried to burn butterfly effect and recieved error

copy protection error
the request could not be preformed because of an
I/O device error
any ideas thanks

Suggest you try DVDDecrypter in File Mode. That DVD changes the encryption for every .VOB.
Once DVDDecrypter finishes then use Shrink

I had the same problem. I was using DVD Shrink all the time. Then I remembered that I re-installed Nero (demo version) until I put the serial number in the problem would not go away.

Maybe DVD Shrink sees something in Nero that we can't, just asking.

But problem was solved.
