Google has confirmed this weekend that the 2013 model of the Nexus 7 has now been discontinued, fully replaced by the newer and more powerful Nexus 9. Such a shame a great tablet for the price no other competitor could match. Although I paid 269 for the 32gb 4G LTE version. Hopefully they will have another 7 inch successor closer to the original price with all the bells and whistles, because the nexus 9 and nexus 6 phone is a huge jump in prices.

Tablets are a waste. Dime a dozen. Seems to me that 1 is all a household (not a person) needs. They get back-burnered to a laptop every time.

I use both about even. In fact I use my phone more then both combined. I use my laptop strictly for school work and my tablet for fun. Although my laptop is 11 inches it still can't beat the portability of my tablet and lte connectivity.Love the miracast option over the terrible smart features lg put in their TV's.
