how exactly do you rip ps2 dvd games to cd-r

So far of what i have found out you're require a software and a program. Am i right about this:

1.) place your original ps2 dvd game to your dvd rom.

2.) copy all the files that shows up copy all of them save them on a folder in your hardrive. Unzip all the files.

this is what i have gone to understood.

I've looked up on this forum's search engine and haven't found a guide. if someone could give me a brief summary.

I never ripped a dvd game to a cd-r. But I do not believe that you just copy the files. You might want to use DVD Decrypter to rip the files from the cd to your harddrive, it breaks the copyright files so you can make a successful backup. After you rip the files from dvd to hd, I believe you use DVD Shrink??? Can anyone confirm this? Dont take my word for this, because I repeat, I've never done this before. Hopefully someone else can help you out. Good luck

hi,

if you ripped the game and then you use shrink you ripping it for the second time because shrink rips it then he makes it fitting it on a dvd like( 4.2 gig or something) but maybe if you ripped the game you can also make it smaller whit dvd to one? I have only thit this whit dvd movies but maybe ps2 games are different to rip them.

i wouldnt even bother just fork out for some dvd-r your wasting your time and effort
