What's wrong with making a folder called "trash apps" and dragging all of the preloaded garbage in it and sticking it 3 or 4 pages away from the wanted apps? That is what I have done and it works great. I mostly even forget about the folder once I have placed it.

I don't think it's the point of screen space, it's more a point of taking up storage space that could be used for something else.
