I burned CD-R
wanted to play ! try the DVDLoader boot stuff :
1.boot swapmagic dvd and swap for dvd loader by flip/slide press x
2.dvd loader loads(if you need the submenu options press x now)press eject and swap for orignal high toc cd based game or swapmagic cd press eject to send back in
3.wait for it to say ps2 cd in lower left of tv press x
4.wait for swap by ea method prompt at this point swap for cdr backup by flip/slide and press x
5.your cdr backup should now boot
------- try that ! and still don't work !
the screen turn pink !! ??
can someone tell me more about CD-r back up boot !?!?!

you did all the swaps fine, maybe its a bad burn. You can try better media and you can try ripping it slower.
Can you give us a bit more info. What media did you use, what speed did you burn it at. Did you use a cd-r or cd-rw?

I thought you needed to use the smd cd for cd-r's not the smd dvd. I could be wrong

Nemesis, at step 3, i don't hit x, the cd just stops spinning, then i swap for the backup and hit x.

you guy, thanks for replying me !!! now it's working !
but the thing is a didn't use the SMD disk ,
I used a GameShark to boot my CD-R backup games
it work very well !!!

i only get to step 1
1.boot swapmagic dvd and swap for dvd loader by flip/slide press x
and i get the pink screen. i tried memorex cdr and fujifilm made in japan cdr burned at 1x speed.
i have never been able to get a CDR to boot. no matter if i back it up myself or dl and image. NO CDRs have booted for me. i got a v10 ps2 with sm cd 3.2 and sm DVD 2.0 dont know why...

well, the problem is that DVD loader needs to be burnt to DVD thats why its called DVD loader. if you want to burn to cd get CD loader.

i have a DVDLOADER image from suprnova. i burn it at 1X speed with DVDDECRYPTOR using the same DVD-R that i have my other games on.
Boot PS2 with SM DVD, insertdisc screen appears, flip top, insert DVDLOADER, press X, and it gives me red border.
tried the same thing with all the butons i could and nothing....
