We need more information about the software and hardware and disc media you are using. Be specific.
As a general rule people who do not understand what they are doing, usually see unsupported format errors when these happen.
Trying to burn a + DVD on a - DVD only burner.
Trying to burn a - DVD on a + DVD only burner.
Trying to burn a + or - DVD on a drive that is not a DVD burner.
but as you are in the dvdshrink forum this is what we shall do :-
download and install dvdshrink
now open shrink and select edit , preferences and then file I/O and under burn settings check enable burning with Nero is ticked ( we do this so dvdshrink can burn automaticly using neros burn engine )
1, put original dvd in and open dvdshrink
2, select open disc and find your dvd (dvdshrink will now analyze your dvd )
3, select backup
4, under target device select your dvd writer
5, click ok
your done DVD Shrink will now rip , encode and then burn your dvd as an all in one program .
When I first started using Nero, I got the same error message. Are you dragging your files to the compilation side? It would help if you posted your steps for Nero.
when i get in Nero i go to SVCD and i click next and it says add so i go to local disk (C:) and i click on the movie and then click ok then it kinda starts and the error messge occurs i also tried VCD same message
