MPAA has done nothing but create a vacuum by shutting down YTS. Another site will spawn soon enough; their method of compression (Handbrake, etc.) is all over the Internet. It's only a matter of time. The rebirth of the Star Wars franchise will only hasten it. (Thanks, Disney!)

This is absolutely NOT TRUE!

THe popcorn crap you refer to on Xbox is NOT THE SAME as PopcornTime.........at all........PERIOD!!!

As for Ivymike's comment......Nice of you to justify rampant piracy. Again, I'm no angel and download but I buy MOST of the stuff I have but movie theaters aren't nearly that expensive anymore. Cinemark does 4 dollar Tuesdays and the rest of the week it's like 9 bucks for a movie. Price gauging is really only on the snacks.

AMC is cheap too certain days of the week. Matinees are still cheap too so your statement has little to no merit.

Nights are the higher priced times, especially weekends but that's no different than restaurants that don't have drink specials on the weekends. The business is there at those time regardless.

Last movie I saw in a theater was Revenge of the Sith back in 2005. I have absolutely no plans of ever returning. It's too expensive and most people are rude and inconsiderate of those around them.
I'll stay in my home and watch it on my big screen with full surround! Much nicer than messing with a theater.

Well I guess I just won't watch movies anymore until they come to HBO, or anywhere on TV. Screw the MPAA and their crappy movies and high prices. If I can't download it for free, I just won't bother with it at all. You were never losing money to piracy, just think about that.

I sure hope you mean when it comes out on Blu-Ray with DTS Master Audio or equivalent, and not some CAM rip that wouldn't come near to the full potential of a home theater setup.
