Smartphone manufacturers, especially the big ones, love their predictable release cycles. Apple releases an iPhone every fall and Samsung releases a top-of-the-line Galaxy S every spring.
Samsung's Galaxy S7 is "the next big thing", as Samsung likes to put it, but might steal once more a trick or two from Apple.
The rumors have it that Samsung will be unveiling the follow-up to Galaxy ... [ read the full article ]

THis is gonna be run-o-the-MILL Samsung crap...again. *Sigh*
4GB RAM, Snapdragon 810 or maybe an 820. *Sigh*
Bloatware, insecure crappy quicksand that is Android. *Sigh*
On a positive, the pressure-sensitive feature is just way cool.

Can you take the battery out? Can you put a microsd card in? Will we have root access, is the bootloader unlocked, or will the phone never actually belong to anyone but the carrier?
These are the only features which matter to me.

Here are the latest rumors that I have heard to answer some of your questions:
Battery will not be removable like the S6 (total bs I know).
Microsd is making a return supposedly. So yes.
North America is getting the SnapDragon 820 which is qualcomm and always very easy to root. Europe likely will get Samsung chip which is harder to root but not impossible.
Hope that helps. Still rocking my Note 4 and loving it, hacked to hell and back.
