I just read over at FW that shop4tech currently has a deal on Ridata Ritek 4x DVD-R discs. They are $44.10 for a 100pk & that included shipping! The coupon code for the 10% off is "DN10" but the coupon code expires August 6th, so til' Friday.
I think I may get at least 100, anyone else buy these though?
I heard the horror stories about the purple wrapped RiDATA too but, even though I've only burned a few, I haven't had any bad burns so far. They seem to perform as well the red shrink wrapped RiDATA for me :)

yea i also just got some a purple 50 spindle of ridatas and have burned 10 with no errors.
Are these still sapposed to be the same ridatas as the red shrink wraped?
Are they still A grade?
