I have got my hands on a copy of the hd loader. it is a brand new disk and i was a little fuzzy as how to make a copy of it. do i have to burn it to a dvd-r or cd-r? does it have to be a dual layer? any special program for this? any help would be greatly apprecited. thanks....

i don't think you can make a straight backup of it, there are things on it that need to be changed. if you give me your email address, i will send you one. Also, incase you didn't know, you will need some sort of mod to boot the backup.

what exactly does the memory exploit allow you to do?

it puts hd loader on your memory card. you set it up so that when you insert a ps1 game, it loads up.

Does the HDLoader memory exploit run the program as normal or just boot certain types of games... in other words.. can you run HDLoader off the memory card as normal so the disc is not required?

It puts hd loader on the memory card. It the same program as the original, but you use a ps1 game to boot it.

Quick question for ya guys. i've got a copy of HD loader and it works great. Seeing as they don't make them anymore I am worried about scratching my copy. I have an unmodded ps2 so I can't back it up. Looking for other options besides buying another copy or moding my ps2. Wondering if I can use the memory card exploit and if so how do I go about getting it. Any info would be helpful .

I have an Air Max; will that work. I take it I use it to move the program from my computer to my ps2. If it will work that would be great. I already have HD loader on my ps2 so I just need the program to bring up the menu. This way I can keep my original copy safe. How do I go about doing this?

hi sly_61019. I was wondering if you could send me the copy that you can put onto your memory card. I have a copy of HDLoader but would love to find away to boot it without having to have that actual disk in my playstation.

you cant just make a copy. you need to download the cracked version. also, if your cousin's ps2 is not modded, it wont work.

I got me a PS2 V7 with a DMS3 chip in it. Can you link me to something that describes HD loader, and I will PM you my email if you can send me the memory card exploit if it works with my chip. My PS2 doesnt like Sonic branded DVD-Rs, so I have to buy some Riteks or something.
