TMPG Sound Loss

Im totally new to dvd burning and whatnot, and I managed to use TMPG to encode and author a dvd. The problem is that it's all good until about 15sec into the movie when the sound completely disappears. What happened to the movie? The video is fine, just the sound is gone.
