U.S. authorities have charged Ukranian Artem Vaulin with copyright infringement, alleging that he ran the world's most popular torrent site, Kickass Torrents.
Vaulin was arrested in Poland and the U.S. is actively looking to extradite him.
Prosecutors in Chicago claim the site offers unauthorized downloads of music, movies, games, ebooks and more valued at over $1 billion.

No problem, theres plenty of other sites to use. Not only tgat, 1 gets taken down, 2 takes its place. The BS Government cannot ever win. There are a hell of a lot smarter people out there than the FBI tech people. They want to continue pouring resources into an impossible to win battle, have fun.
No biggie; KAT had a lot of visitors but; like TPB; it had been surpassed by other better sites long ago. I do feel bad for the guy...torrent files are not copywrited material and it is always sickening when someone gets arrested for hosting them, but it changes nothing in terms of piracy. After all, the biggest pirate around right now is the US government.

I do miss the comments sections, esp with TPB. If you had problems installing something people were ready to take the trouble to help or at least comment on how they did it.
