Guy's, as you know you can only change the region of your dvd burner 5 times. After this, is there a software you can get to change it back to a different region or not. Many thanks.

I prefer slysofts' AnyDvd to DVDIdle. I find it is easier to use and when you use anydvd it automatically makes the dvd region free. I would recommend it to anyone!

Don't know of any software or DVD+/-RW hack to reset your drive back to it's original state. You might start by looking for a hack for your burner here:

http://tdb.rpc1.org/index.htm#ND2500A

Select your drive model at the top of the page.

My NEC 1100A and 2500A drives had to be set to Region 1, after that all was well.

DVD Shrink will set your Region to Region Free, defeat CSS and remove Macrovision. What more do you need?
