This is simply a result of the increase in population.

The very same reason that "more people than ever" buy newly-released stuff. Because there are MORE PEOPLE on the planet.

I'm guessing it's just the Nintendo fans desperately trying to get away from the WiiU...only to realize that they bought an overpriced budget tablet with terrible controls and few available games. The fact that there will be no more WiiU games is sort of a f**k you to the consumer but at the same time it's a reason for the Nintendo zombies to move because their old system basically became instantly worthless with that announcement.

I wish I could say I was shocked...unfortunately I lost my faith in humanity back in November after the election...the public making terrible choices is just par for the course now. At least Nintendo is only racist against Italian plumbers.
