Hi,

When they say Large-TOC they are saying Large File Size. SO you want a game that has a bigger file size than the backup ex: Original Large TOC Game (4.1 GB) and the backup should be less such as 007 Everything or Nothing(3.1 GB I believe). Hped that helpeds and your welcome.

TOC stands for Table Of Contents. Don't let this fool you, this does not mean a file listing or file system. It actually has to do with track positions and lengths. The reason people talk about TOC sizes is because if the PS2 thinks the games TOC is 2GB, if a game trys to access a file anywhere past that 2GB mark, it will fail. The game may freeze or crash. In the PSX days, TOCs were nightmares with swap tricks. If the game used audio tracks for music you had to forget about it unless using a modchip. But later games, and PS2 games, tend to be a single data track. So swapping is relatively easy now.

I dont mean to sound rude, but isnt that what I was saying? Just trying to make sure hehe. The old psx method was to use a game that had the most audio tracks, and I think thats what you are saying.

I was not trying to show you up, just give another more detailed explanation should he want to know more.

Original PSX swapping on games that weren't a single mode 2 xa data track sucked horrible. Ever try booting Rock Man X3 or something like Ridge Racer? If i recall correctly, unless you start/swap from the original game you will never get good or perfect audio.

But ya, I got mine modded ages ago...

To make somethings a little less clearer ;o). A DVD does not contain a TOC. CD contains TOC, DVD contains a PFI=Physical Format Information.

NEC 2510A
Sony CRX160E
DrSchenk PROmetus MT-200
AudioDev CATS SA300
