It promises that Android 8.0 Oreo improves speed, performance, security and introduces several new useful features. So essentially it's no different than the previous build.

Android is becoming stagnant. Shit OS as is.

No matter what the naysayers spit out, welcome to the changes; just wish more vendors could support the untouched OS (Lenovo has done it; now, it's time for the others).
Android blows the other OSs out of water as far as flexibility is concerned (say, video support like HDR, file transfer support like drag-n-drop without an extra software). No worries anymore about security (given that banks, and the other financial organizations support the OS).
