There's no bigger player in the streaming TV and movies scene than Netflix ? no matter how much you want it YouTube. This year the streaming giant will spend approximately $6 billion in programming, only to increase the spending by quite a margin in 2018. I'm bettin' they will have a financial struggle as a result of this expenditure.

No way are that many people cord-cutting to dedicate an extraordinary amount of time to Netflix......at least compared to now.

Netflix is clearly banking on increasing their biz by a seriously larger margin than what normal businesses hope for.


IMO, people just don't "switch" at the drop of a dime. Netflix subscriber base will certainly increase, I just don't think it will enough to compensate for 80 new Netflix-only shows at 8 billion bucks.



But.........these companies venture onto larks all the time; this is no different.
