I downloaded a show from my replay tv which on the replay it was 3.0 gigs and on my computer it is also in mpeg format but when i try to burn onto disk its over 6 gigs how do i shrink this to fit on one disk cuz shrink wont let me or how do i?

What software are you using to burn it?

sez mpeg2 for video and mpeg 1 for audio what i dont get is its only 3.something gigs but when i try to burn to dvd it sez its like 6 gigs how do i shrink
