DVD Decryptor rips the DVD contents to your computer's hard drive, it does not download anything. If you are trying to conver from avi to DVD DVD Shrink is not the way to go.
If, on the other hand you are wanting to back up a DVD movie using DVD Shrink ripping movie contents to the hard drive is not necessary since this application is designed to read directly from original DVD.
Let us know exactly what you are wanting to do and maybe with more information a more accurate sugestion can be given by the members of this great forum.

If you used DVD Decrypter in Mode > File F.
In DVD Shrink click Open Files.
If you used DVD Decrypter in Mode > ISO > Read R
In DVD Shrink click File > Open Disc Image.

why do you want shrink to open your files? if they are already on ur hdd they can be burned using Nero or copytodvd. DVD Shrink compresses your movie into video_ts folder ifos ect.

Ok, im having a little trouble understanding whats going on. This is the way i back-up my movie(s).
1: Insert the Dvd into DVD Shrink, it analyses it and comes up, i click backup and i make a folder for the dvd files to go to.
2: once DVD Shrink is finished i burn the files in Nero or copy to dvd.
If your movie is stopping at 70& it means the disc is scratched. If Nero says the files are to big to fit onto a disc that means when you compressed the movie it is over the dvd-r single side capacity of 4464MBS or 4.38GBS.
If its over that size it will not be able to burn, if thats the case change your settings in DVD Shrink and make it 4464MBS or lower. I hope that will help you!

well it depends on how much compression you want. i have my setting at 4460mbs. id reccommend that.btw im not sick of ya. if the movie is compressed to say 4000mbs the movie quality will be a little less quality to 4460mbs, so just change the setting to 4460mbs.
