I have been lurking in the background for several months. I thought it was time to step out of the shadows and speak. I am attempting to use CCE BasicDVD RB to backup some of my videos and have run into a odd problem.
The video appears to process okay (no errors). However, all the video in the VIDEO_TS folder is badly macro-blocked. The only video that is not macro blocked is the menus. I have used the default setting and one click mode on two videos with the same outcome.
[Versions[
CCE Basic 2.69
MPEG2Dec3dg.dll 1.0.1.0
DVD RB 0.56
AviSynth 2.5
DVD Decrypted 3.2.3.0
First, this screen is elongated, and I have to use my slider bar to read. If my response doesn't answer your question, it would be a big favor to me if you would repost in the following thread, and post an ending to this one saying something to the effect that this thread was ended due to a faulty read screen, and tell follow-ons where the new thread is posted.

In answer to your question, you did not say if you played the files directly from the video_ts folder, or from a burned DVD. Whatever the case, this is a sure sign of a fragmented video file, and a drive that needs defragging. Try that, and then play the files from the video_ts folder. I believe you will find the files play smoothly.
I install the AviSynth application in a non-default location. Second, I put the required *.DLL under the AviSynth plug-in folder. And last set the path under DVD-RB, including add to AVS checkbox. See the dvd-rb.ini file above. Is there a error in what I did?
I will re-check the config again and attempt the process again. I will let you know what occurs.
