44% through opening with Shrink I get "cyclic redundancy error" the scan freezes and it will read the DVD. I can only decrypt 35% of this DVD using smart ripper. Any ideas of what the error is?

Hi Mork :P

A CRC error is the result of your drive not being able to read a specific part of the disc. Common causes are a dirty or scratched disc. Try cleaning the disc, check for scratches then try again.

If the disc is clean and scratch free then the likely cause is some corrupt data on the disc from the factory.
