I've tried EVERYTHING for Bittorrent

I've gone through all of these threads, done umpteen Google searches and everything, and I can't for the life of me, get this damn program to work.

When I did the search for bittorrent and first got the thread at the top of this page(about 3 hours ago), I had the same symptoms as the author said, I have a router, yet nothign will work. My router stuff is set up wierd. I have to go
Control Panel > Network Conections > Change setting > Advanced > Settings > Advanced > Settings (yes, twice) > Select LAN thing > Settings > Add and then I can finally add the ports, but that did nothing.

I tried visiting my LAN through web browser ( http://photobucket.com/albums/v347/J6stik/?action=view¤t=screen.jpg ) and that didn't work either. Could anyone help me out at all???
