@ mike - ive only had one bus jorney so far, and i had to pay £1.30 for it when the child fare is only £0.50p. but ive got a pass card thing for the cinema and stuff so i still get the child discount!

@ sammorris, that pic of the comp is it yours?
i noticed you had a RJ11 connected to a microfilter which was connected to a phone extension, if thats what you use to connect to the internet, you do know the phone extension can degrade the broadband signal, its better to buy a longer RJ11 data cable or whatever kind of cable you use.
@Eva where did u take that bus? in london under 16 bus journeys are free.

im situated around manchester, where bus prices are really unfair. the elderly recently got really cheap prices on bus travel, so theres a MASSIVE rise in everyone else's. not fair.
thanks for the bday wishes all :) and thank you specially regor! is there a particular tune because im having to make my own to it and its probably nothing compared to the original.

Hi All,
Havent posted for a while now, but i just thought i'd say it was my 30th birthday yesterday, Saturday July 15th.
In the last 6 weeks i got made redundant from my crappy factory job & in June started a new job with Maplin Electronics (i think the equivalent in the US is Radio Shack) where i get to talk to people all day about computers, electronics, gadgets & such like & get paid for it!! :)
Just like to say thank you to everyone here at aD for all the knowledge i have gained & without being a member here & learning so much off you all i dont think i would have been able do what ive done.. I only got my 1st PC 2 years ago & now i have a job in Technical Sales! WOW!! :) thankyou, everyone...
PS, @Creaky... If youre reading this, i managed to talk someone out of buying a pack of RiDisc DVD-R's last week & sold them Verbatim instead.. all because of your training, sensei.. haha..

The one in glasgow, scotland isn't, I remember going there and they weren't very nice. Not nice at all :(
