Azureus download problems with Netgear router - Please help!!!

Hi all

I've been trying to solve my download problems for days now, and I hope you can help because I am getting desperate!

I have a 1024/128 ADSL connection, running with an Alcatel ("Speed Touch Home) ADSL Modem, hooked up with a NETGEAR WGR614 router. The PC on which Azureus is installed is connected to the router with a network cable (not wirelessly), and runs Windows XP Pro, with the latest service pack and the firewall disabled.

I have forwarded port number 55101 on IP 192.168.0.5 (the internal IP of the 'Azureus' PC), and entered that number onto Azureus. The port check in Azureus gives me 'OK' (No NAT errors), and my downloads all have green smileys.

Yet my d/l speeds never go above 10 k/sec, and rarely above 7 k/sec!!! My upload speed is limited to 15 k/sec, and uploads regularly get 10-15 k/sec.

Could someone explain this???????
