I have had considerable success using dvdxcopy platinum, but occasionally, especially when I am backing up a series (3 or more discs) one of them is not accessible. I can't figure out how to get around that. Once or twice I was able to use xrescue instead and it worked, but usually it doesn't. I use the simple option as the advanced doesn't seem to work. the browse, etc. all stay grey and I am not able to try that. I am very limited in my skills in this and need really basic instruction. Thanks

Select the entire disk option, otherwise, live with it. It's a 321 glitch in the older versions or you may try upgrading to a newer version.
