hi guys

I am having a problem
while I am using dvd shrink, shrinking the movie. During the process it stops
and a error message pops up

Drive E Error
Redundancy Check Error


does anyone know what is causing this.?
and how to fix it?
and does cleaning it really works, it's hard to believe that a disk can be repaired

redundancy errors basically mean that the drive can't read the disc. Sometimes it's dust or maybe a fingerprint. Sometimes it's a scratch. Cleaning is a simple solution. Lint free cloth and a cleaning solution( the recomendations will vary). Any type of cleaner for eyeglasses, isopropyl alcohol, contact lens cleaning solution, some even use windex. Scratches are a little different. Some of the deeper ones are just not fixable. But you might try a commercial scratch repair kit.
