I've done a string search and cannot find any resolution.

Desktop icon appears but when I double click, nothing happens. Updated my ASPI, closed all virus software, un and re-installed numerous times and nothing.

E-m'd my copy ro my laptop and it opens fine, but there is something on my system that's preventing it from opening.

Anyone have any ideas on what can be done.

Someone solved this issue by downloading a unzip program like WinRAR or WinZIP

Try reloading windows. I had similar issues with shrink and was solved by formatting the HD and reloading XP. XP has all the necessary applications to run shrink *(other than Nero or whatever you use to burn and power dvd to play them) Example, I can install XP on a fresh HDD, then run shrink without installing any other programs or applications other than mentioned above. If you don't have XP, this info may not be true...
