When I rip a dvd with dvd decrypter, It plays fine.(check)
When I use dvd shrink to re-auther the dvds and burn them (dvd decrypter) they seem to burn ok. But when I Look at the dvd I created, It showes up as a coaster , on the computer and it wont play in my home dvd player.
Im using a pioneer dvr-108 recorder and my media is ridata 8x. Im burning at 2x ( because I thought it was that)
Any other thoughts, maybe sugestions?. Other programs to try?
I was using the DVD-9 -> DVD±R, using only free software guide.

Under mode in Decrypter make sure ISO write is checked
I was so ugly when I was a kid, my parents used to take me everywhere just so they wouldn't have to kiss me goodbye.

I just wanted to make sure this is right befor I make another coaster.
When I rip the movie I want 'File' mode in DVD Decrypter, then when I burn it I want it in iso write mode?

Just to clarify that I understand what your saying... when you click backup in DVD Shrink and the window pops up ,on the first tab under select backup target, you're selecting "ISO Image File and burn with Decrypter", so then when that's done, you check your disc and it's a coaster?

I found my problem. I was just doing tests, Not in burn mode. What I thought were coasters were just blank.
I feel silly. I burnt the movies using Nero and behold, they did burn.
I wish windows had native support for dvd wrighting.
It was showing the disk had 0kb on it and 0 kb left.
this made me think they were coasters.
I checked the dvds in Nero and I found out that they just wernt burning at all.
Hope that made sence. All is good and thank you for your answers.
