Hi everyone !
I'm a french guy and i want to purchase MGS3 in its american version. Here, it cost 75 ?.
I don't want to buy a game 75 ? if it not boot, so here's my questions :
1/Could someone tell me if MGS3 can be swapped with Swap Magic disc system ?
2/Is MGS3 on a dvd9 or a normal DVD ?
It will be fantastic if someone take the time to answer me, I don't want to lose so much money like I do with other games which can't be swapped with the Swap Magic system.

I'm thinking DVD9...but hey, that's just a guess...
MGS2: Substance was DVD9 but developers are compressing better now...

If you can check it out the bottom of DVD9 discs are gold. Has it been released in France, if so it's not fair I have to wait till march in the UK :(
And dude, that's £53 stirling in the UK... that's mega steep for a game.

LMAO...it was new to me also...
With so many huge games coming out...it's hard to keep track of some games...Half Life 2 just being released and so did Metroid Prime 2...this is the year of sequels!

Well but Substance was actually a combination of MGS2, +bonus stuff/missions and vr missions.
If you were to make a comparison to a past game, then Sons of Liberty would be more applicable, and I don't believe that was a 9...but I could be mistaken.

So now the question is... will it copy and boot or will it have to be ISObusted, rebuilt like Battlefront/NBA live 2005 which some people have had to do for those.

I heard the game came out today, the 17th. however I can't find it at blockbuster, movie gallery, target, walmart, gamestop... can't find it any where. I think that's really strange.

Oh yeah, seeing as it's out... Well instead of waiting till March I know what I'm doing(and no i'm not gonna get an import copy)
MGS3(not from xtra vision)... I shd really stop, Xtra vision will start to wonder.
The reason you cant find it is cuz its prolly rented and sold out. It did that with MGS2, it didnt do to well in Japan but flourished elsewhere.

Hey everyone.
Just wanted to let you guys know that MGS3 doesnot come out in stores until the 19th of Nov, which is tomorrow not the 17th. Unless you got someone to sell it to you illegally and if you did man get me a copy.
Can't wait.

As I expected it's on suprnova.org, only 2 seeds though but its 2048 when compressed. Hopefully there are more seeds soon. As I really want to check this game out b4 it's release in March, the demo from same place didnt work for me :(

why not just get the us version instead of waiting till march, am sure that the PAL version wont have any significant changes.
