hmm, am not sure, its on a dvd 5 so i guess you could, but am not sure if it'll work with the proper game yet, i'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out.

Raiden, I am getting the US version off of Suprnova. And it will work, provided your tv can support the NTSC signal, if not then you will have to apply a PAL patch :)

yeah it does mate, but am just curious will it work with swap magic straight away or is it gonna be another xenosaga disaster.

oh man your gonna love this, its been the pain of using swap magic. Xenosaga is a pretty big game so they put it on a dual layered DVD 9 disc, its too big for swap magic to run, theres been countless threads on trying to get it to run, but you can't, the only way is to buy a US Ps2, only a few games have been put on to dvd9, mainly big ones like rpgs. I was worried that because metal gear substance was put on a dvd 9 that snake eater would too, but it seems that mgs 3 snake eater is on a dvd5 so that means swap magic will run it, yaaay.

no problem,just make sure before you get a game that its compatible with swap magic, like i say 98% are but the odd few like dvd9 games aren't.

Hello everyone I just came back from my local video game retailer and I got my copy of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. I went in yesterday and they told me to come back today the 18th, it seemd that there had been a delay here in California for delivery, see the funny thing was that the distributors already had the game they were just not on time with delivering to retail stores, but as my good friends here in Game Dude one man took the action, he called in and went to pick up the box containing a whole load of MGS3 copies, after waiting for 40min for him to come back all I could say about that situation was "SWEET!", so I think it's about time I took a deep breath and go handles my bizz. All I can tell you guys is that I ain't coming out of my house until I am done with it. I'll back it up after im done and try to be prompt on posting my results with Swap Magic & MGS3. Well everyone im out. ^_-

dude u are lucky.in here in toronto i have just checked my local blockbuster and they said they havent got it yet.if anyone from toronto got it yet plzz post which blockbuster u got it from(location)?
and one more question can i use my blockbuster card to rent vidios from and blockbuster in toronto?

BLOCK BUSTERS DON'T GOT IT CUZ ALL BLOCK BUSTERS GET ALL THE GAMES ON FRIDAYS WHICH IS TODAY... I BOUGHT MY COPY THE 17th AT ELECTRONIC BOUTIQUE THATZ THE VIDEO GAM STORE THAT ALWAYS HAS EVERYTHING THE SAME DAY.. THEY HAD MADDEN ONE DAY B4 IT CAME OUT AND THEY SELL IT.. ALSO.. U CAN BACK UP MSG3 I TRIED IT.. BUT WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS IF IT WORKS WITH THE HDD LOADER??? I HAVE A HDD LOADER BUT DON'T HAVE MY NETWORK ADAPTER I LENT IT OUT FOR A WEEK..

You know EB is owned by GAME, and EB sucks major nuts. GAME are changing all the shops to GAME cuz EB sucks. GAME rocks although I just rent games now ;). Aside from a few big ones like MGS3, I decided to wait cuz 102 hours dl time is to much... only had 1 seed X0.

buddy, all blockbusters are different. I'm posting fron cambridge, there are three down here. The one on helpler road doesn't get anything until about 3 days after, so about the friday, the one on Dundas has their new games in on Thursday, and the one in the HOliday inn plaza has them day of!! I got my copy of NFSU2 there on the 15th in the evening. You just gota call around, and ifthey got a copy, put it on hold for you

I've got it, it's 4.5 gigs, burned it to Sony DVD-R at 2X and it works no problem.

I rent games and backemup sometimes. Big games like MGS3 I will buy. Rogue Agent I will buy as I'm a big Bond fan, NFSU2 i bought cuz I cdnt be annoyed patching DNAS. Then I rented deception patched it and now I learn that it needs a fix to stop it from freezing on the connect screen.
