Dvd Freezes at 90% when backing up in h/d to burn with dvd shrink

Can anyone help I am new and can't get the dvd backup in the hard drice past 90% without an error message coming up.

Dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
Failed to read file "D:/"
Overlapped I/O operation is in progress

This comes up everytime at 90%

Please help

How much free space do you have on D: drive? Could you be out of space. You need a at least 10 gig (15 would be better) for the backup.

is this a new factory disc or an already burnt dvd you are trying to rip?

It is a new disk, Shrek2 and I have almost 14g of hard drive space left. Plenty of room

i did this movie with no problems

1.i would play and scan through the movie if it hasn't already

2. try ripping it with dvd decrypter

3. if it still gives the error then try reauthoring it with shrink for just the movie only instead of full disc

1.rip movie in "file" mode
pay attention to where you save the ripped movie

2.open the file you ripped in shrink with the "open files" button

that should get you started hopefully

1.to re-author just hit the re-author button at top in shrink and click the main title and drag it over to the box on left

2.uncheck the audios and stuff you don't want to make the compression less just be sure to leave at least the AC3

I have another problem you may be able to help me with.I burned 3 movies without a hitch and I went to burn ELf and it won't play in my stand alone dvd player. Works fine in the computer but not in my machine. I burned 2 dvds thinking the first one had a flaw. I want to burn Harry Potter but am scared the same thing will happen. Is there something I can do to prevent this? W

try slowing down the burn speed first

also be sure to rip all files in decrypter and not leave nothing out

also get some RW rewritable discs so you don't waste regular ones until you get the hang of burning
