Error in vxd using dvd shrink and sometimes dvd decryptor

Me and a friend of mine both have this same error popping up on our computers
We both have windows 98
i got 128 megs of ram and a amd duron
ive been able to burn and rip alot but the odd time
i get this error
error in vxd 0028: c14eofdd
its always an error in vxd
can someone help me out so i dont see this any more?
it happens mainly in shrink for me when its compressing the video and for my friend when hes burning using decryptor..
the only other burning program i have on my computer is stomp record now max but my friend has nero on his as well...
any advice would be thankfull!

i dont know if its the asip drivers or what makes an error in vxd or what vxd is?

vxd called virtual device driver for win

u said ur os is 98 and lotsa problems being issued in internet bout Nero 6.6 conflicted with Win Me and I think it may be as the same issue as urs

but the ultimate solution is upgrade that outdated OS or replace it with Linux.

Win '98 is probably the most unstable OS. Can you not upgrade to XP Pro?
