Hi, I'd jumped the gun a little tying to unlock my Nokia 6230
I've tried over 3 times, is there any way of remotely unlocking the phone?

Hello all, I've already posted earlier to ask for unlock codes for my phone, Model:Nokia 6230, Type:RH-12, Network:Orange, Country:UK, Imei: 353768008967320.
The newbie "ben.1" was kind enough to post these codes he generated for me to try...............

......i tried 7 and 5 only but got "code error" message. Are you supposed to enter these codes with NO GAPS??
I also checked the phone with an O2 sim (just in case it worked) but with the O2 sim it came up with "phone restricted", then "enter restriction code" - is this normal, or does this mean i cannot unlock it myself?? If so, can i still get a proffesional unlocker to do it?
I got the phone from a good friend so i know it's not stolen or anything.
Any help would be much appreciated as i'm without a phone at the mo (which was nice and peaceful to start with but now it's just really annoying and inconveniant!!).

Hiya,
Many thanks for all the help you have given to everyone. You helped me with a nokia problem but i wonder if you can help my girlfriend. She has a Sony Ericsson T68i that needs unlocking. I know its not Nokia but maybe you can still help or someone can tell me where to go!

The phone is from Cingular(USA) and i'm trying to unlock it with a T-mobile sim card. Tried it once with a code from another Cingular person but it didn't work.
