well looking at them this way. the windata's granted are -r's but,i still dont think they are verbs. that model is what i had the problems with last year when i took 200 of them back to officemax, when they wouldnt burn.

PAP268L 120001662 5 is the codeing on the inner hub of the new styl verbs.

PAP678LD2116149 Is the code on the inner hub of the older style verbs.

the windata disc dont have any code what so ever on it. other than DVD-R

so who knows what is what with these fellas..lolguess im gonna stick with the old style verbs and shy away from the newer stuff.

guess ill have to start burning 16x-r printable verbs ;)

Yes Rob, the 1.Z1 is for the Optiarc drive. The scans on the previous page are with the new style Verbs. I've still got an unopened spindle of TY full hub printable DVD+R's to use with the new Epson RX595 I bought today. Wife said happy fathers day. :)

yea but yours is a quad..lol
plus im talking about burning on all 4 drives at once. 4 different movies 4 different burning programs..lol
naw i aint gonna try that doing 3 at once was enough..lol

i just looked at those officedepot disc i just got. 20 of them are the R05 and i have 17 of the F16 from the first run i did a couple weeks back..whats funny i can tell which are what by looking at them. i took them out of the little cd slim cases they were in and have them in a cake box now. the F16 disc are a lighter color than the R05's. thats looking at the edges of them that is.

Your CPU would be plenty at stock clocks...the limitations will come with your HDD's.

yea i know i have plenty of power to do the 4 at once, i was just funnin around. but i did notice that when i did the 3 at once. the drive i was useing imageburn with. the buffer for it would drop down to like 10% and slowly build back up to the 100% range. it would make some sense if i use a different HDD to pull from if i intended to do it again. not try and pull the info from the same hdd.

im getting ready to use the sammy and burn a 16x-r printable verb. heck its been so long since i printed on a disc with installing the epson printer on TBRM i forgot my settings for the disc..lol

Oh, Goody!

I might have some strange stuff to throw at it, once I'm back up and running.

Hey viseeo,

Welcome to AD!

In my experience they will fade. You can take steps to slow the fading down by storing them properly out of the light. If you store them improperly you can accelerate the fading, which happened in my case. If you are going to keep them in binders, make sure that the sleeves are Polypropylene, Mylar, or Tyvek.

Here are a couple of threads you might want to read through.
