it used to take me like 30 min to backup a dvd (ex. fast and furious, hero, redsident evil 2) but now its taking me like 2 1/2 - 3 hours...aka fast n furious 2, and anchorman. wtf!!! i dont understand. i didnt change a thing. same media, same computer, same everything...whats the deal??? plz help me

Hi, Have you updated any new sofware or added/removed hardware.

Try using CLONEDVD2 and ANYDVD The best on the Planet by far.

Often easy to blame software/hardware when the problem could be operator malfunction.

Would suggest checking in your Device Manager to ensure that it is still in DMA and not PIO mode for starters.

Have been using Shrink for over 12 months without any problems.

Other possible causes could be:
1. Hard Drive not recently defragmented.
2. Spyware on system.
3. Poor quality media.
4. Limited available hard disk space.
5. Software conflicts (e.g., Roxio, Interactual, InCD).
6. Bad orignal DVD.

Thats for starters.

Been using shrink well over a year. Only been getting better. colw brings up excellent points.
