fiddle around with thte settings on devhook abit then.
search for a football manager x patch i used that to play mine on devhook.

hi guys, i need your expert advice on playing a few games
i got umdemulator v0.8c, and i've put everything in the correct folder.
then the two PSP_GAME [folder] and UMD_DATA [bin file] i've gotta put it in the ISO folder right? ISO folder being in the root directory with PSP and UMDEMULATOR ,YUP?
so i boot up umdemulator with a umd inside, i see PSP_GAME/ and below it UMD_DATA ... i tried each of them but my PSP freezes up... i've also tried some of your advice changing it to copy boot and direct boot and stuff.... am i doing something wrong, or is the ISO just broken or something...
and y is it nowadays there is no 'game.iso' file anymore, it was so simple last time

trust me your living in the past with umdemulator v0.8c, its not worth the hassle it causes.
search around for DEVHOOK 0.45, it can emulate games requiring 2.71 frimware

Hi. I have successfully got Need for Speed Most Wanted working, but neither Metal Gear Acid or Monster Hunter Freedom are. If anyone could offer suggestions, they would be helpful.

its not the emulator that is giving me problems. i cant seem to extract the game file to an iso. format. i am wondering if there is a way to run a game on the memory stick with only having the two files psp_game , umd_data files. i tried using vcdrom to change the game over to iso. format but the game just froze. i have 1.51 ver on my psp. the game i am having trouble with is atv fury. if anyone can help i would be greatful.

Eh..... im just askin because i dont know but..... when you finish with these the game comes up on the GAME folder like a Homebrew? or does it just load the game, Sorry if its a newb question i just dont know O_o

hello every one i'm new here. i just got the umdemulator8c & dev hook on the psp. i put the umdemulator folder where it says MP ROOT ,PSP,AUTORUN UMDEMULATOR,ISO.i have the 2 folders umdemulator & umdemulator% in the game folder. i have untold legends in the psp because i can see it when i go to the umdemulator.i got it 2 work but i also have Def Jam Takeover & FIFA Street2 but they dont work . my settings are
CPU/Bus Speed : 333/166 MHz
ISO emulation mode : direct load
Disctype ISO : game
Disctype UMD : game
Updater icon : memstick
Use boot. bin : on
Regioncode override : on
Regioncode game : regionfree(NOT HIGHLIGHTED)
Regioncode video : regionfree(NOT HIGHLIGHTED)
Regioncode audio : regionfree(NOT HIGHLIGHTED)
Flash0 emulation :on
Flash1 emulation :on
can someone tell me if the settings are wrong oer if i did sum thing wrong

You dont need fastloader,just devhook(use the one from my sig link).
At the devhook menu select your iso and click start.

Requesting help here, I'm really getting frustrated with this PSP stuff....
I have devhook 0.46 and UMDemulator 8.0c installed... I have the following settings in UMDemulator:
CPU/Bus speed 222/111
ISO emulation mode - system menu
Disctype ISO - Game
Disctype UMD - game
Updater icon - remove
Use boot.bin - on
Regioncode override - on
Regioncode game/video/audio - regionfree
Flash0 emulation - off
Flash1 emulation - off
Ok, then I select my .iso game (for example dynasty warriors), it sends me back to the menu. WHAT DO I DO FROM HERE? The game doesn't load, and if I go into devhook and select my .iso, the game doesn't load either, no matter which firmware I choose (I tried them all).
Someone please give some advice, thanks.

Well,you don't need umdemulator,just devhook.
Backup the stuff you want from your memory stick(savegames,songs),format it and install devhook again.Put your iso at the ISO folder,load devhook,select your game and load.

Hi
I've downgrade my psp to 1.50 fw and now I've UMDEMULATOR and DEVHOOK in it.
Lot's of my iso's runs perfectly, but now I have a trouble: I'm running Breath of Fire 3 and Championship manager 2007 and to play them i need to upgrade my firmware to 2.00 and 2.82. If i do it, i cannot read anymore iso's? If I do it my psp will not be able to use UMDEMULATOR and devhook right?
so, have any idea to play them, without upgrade my psp firmware?
Help me please!!!!

I've tried dark alex firmware, but when i'm using 3.10 OE-A Update Maker, it doesn't move anymore. I'm here from 20 minutes and it doesn't stop extracting and packing 3.10 firmware. The light of the memory stick cannot stop shining!
Is this a normal process?
Please help!!!

ok.i set up all the folders correctly, and i started the UMD emulator. then im at the menu and i set everything like u said, ex: updater.icon --> original etc. however wen i press x on my .cso file, it freezes, and thats it. i would then have to take out my battery and restart my psp.
