okay my current format is

now when i goto game with NO umd inserted there is nothing there should i try having a UMD in

check the recovery options. to go into it, shut off the psp fully. then turn it on, while holding the r trigger. all of the advanced options should be disabled. in the configuration, turn on the no-umd option. exit, and check again.
if that doesn't work, update to 3.52 m33-4.

you're getting the hang of it. if they don't work, then they're probably bad rips of the game.
you should update to 3.52 m33-4. the other games might work because the cfw has the official sony no-umd driver, and is guaranteed to boot.

hello all. i have been reading numuros sits and help sites but i cannot get any games to work. i can get the game selected in the umdemulator v0.8 menu and when i got the main psp menu, i highlight the umd and get the game preview of the iso but when i select the game it either freezes or i get the fffffed3 error message.
my psp settings: v1.50
umdemulator vo.8c
CPU/Bus Speed: 333/166 MHz (tried all 3)
Iso emulation mode: direct load (i have tried all 3)
Disc type ISO: game
Disc type UMD: game
Updater icon: original
Use boot.bin: on
Regioncode override: on
Region code game/video/audio: regionfree
Flash0 emulation: on
Flash1 emulation: off
i have also placed all umd files in their respective places but still cant get the psp to play. pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase help. i dont know what else to try. x(

WOW!! I cant believe you are still using UMD EMULATOR!! I suggest you upgrade your PSP to the new custom frameworks which do not need any emulators to run games. Check this thread for mor info on custom frameworks.. I strongly advice you to move up to 3.71 m33-4 which is supper stable and dosen't need emulators to run games..

If you prefer to stay with 1.5 (which I do not recomend) I believe you are missing the UMD disk in the PSP when launching the game

Please help me!!! I have been trying to put games on this psp for weeks. I am so new to this. I just did the network update and updated tp 3.80 regular. I downloaded madden and opened it with winrar and a iso comes. What do i do? It will be better if you guys can send a picture step by step process for umd emulator because i do not know how to put it on without a picture. You can email me to i will b eso much appreciated if you guys help me make this work. IM dying here. email removed

pls help me...i m a newbie to this community and to PSP....
i bought a brand new PSP version 3.90......
i dono wat to do to load a game in the memory stick....
actually i came to know about dis forum by google search.....its nice u guys r doin a good job....and so i joined in dis community......
i did watever GR13 said....but i cant load the game....i can c only "corrupted data" and if i open it,it displays"this game cannot be started it is corrupted".......so pls someone help me......

Right, you'll have to know some things before you start (Things you won't be happy with :P)
1) You have Official Firmware 3.90, this software (UMDEmulator) only works on 1.00 and 1.50 (I think - it's a very old program)
2) You'll need to get yourself a Pandora Battery and a Magic Memory Stick (The two go hand in hand) to get Custom Firmware, this will allow you to play games from your memory stick (Among many other things) without having to use this software
3) In regards to UMDEmulator, people don't use it any more, it's not useful any more

is dis the only way(using pandora battery) or do i hav any other way so tat i can make my games play.....and one more thing i downloaded the 3.90M33-3 update and the 390.pbp and i stored it here PSP/GAME/UPDATE/
den switched on my PSP and it also displayed the UPDATE icon....but wen i selected it, it is telling me that the game cannot be started....
first ll dis work or not....pls help me.....
pls pls pl.....

That's a Custom Firmware update you tried to run, it will only work when upgrading from another Custom Firmware.
And, yes, the Pandora Battery is the only way you'll be able to get Custom Firmware on your PSP.

Question... I'm running official firmware version 3.95 and want to run iso's. Is it possible? Or do I need to downgrade?
