im gettin an error on DVD Shrink 3.2 can someone tell me what it means?

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read "D:/"
Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
i get it when i say open disc it starts loadin the disc but the error comes up can someone tell me what it means and if im doin somethin wrong or if theres somethin i can do to get it to stop coming up

This error means your disc is scratched, dirty or damaged. You may also like to run a cleaner through your ROM/burner as the laser may be dirty.

Yes, it is the same cleaner that you use to clean your lenses in a CD player, its a special CD that you pop into the machine and it cleans the lenses.

yeah thats what i thought well i dont have any real cleaners so i asked my friend what to clean it with he said dawn so i cleaned and now im about to see if it works

So the disc you are trying to rip definately has no scratches? dirty? or damaged in any way?
Have you a different disc you could try?

well its not really dirty i just cleaned it and it has little bitty scratches but all dvds have those little ones but they arnt bad scratches

I would now use the latest DVD Decrypter (it's free) first, without AnyDVD, and if you have trouble start the process again with AnyDVD running in the background. But I'm sure DVD Decrypter will do it.

well i really dont know how to use that program i HAD the prohgram but i took it off because i got the shrink to copy the new resident evil that people are havuin trouble doin too i think the decrypter is WAYYY to confusin and everythin i got a dvd loaded i didnt know how to copy it onto a blank dvd after that

OK, well there are plenty of guides on this forum so that you can read and learn what to do, it's not too difficult. That's what I have done when I don't know what to do, so give that a go and I'm sure it will all fall into place.

well give me a link or somethin to a few of them i jutst need to know what to click on the load the disc on to the computer and what to do after wards to copy it onto a blank dvd
