I am brand-new to DVD shrink. I am re-authoring the video by putting only the main title on the disk. I am using automatic compression and telling the program to fit everything on a standard DVD-5 disk. I am saving everything to a file on my desktop.

Anyway, the DVD Shrink program seems to work fine. The trouble comes when I ipen up my Nero Express 3 program to actually burn the new disk. It keeps saying that the project size is too large to fit on the disk. The file size of the video files is less than the capacity of the disk I'm using. I tried going back to DVD Shrink and customizing the size of the disk in the preferences section to something smaller than a standard disk. That still doesn't work.

I tried changing the preferences in Nero to standard play and then long play. No matter what I do, it says that the size of my project is too large to fit on the disk. What am I doing wrong? Is it the Nero program? Is there a better program I can use? Thanks for your help!
