Can't get DVD shrink to work

When I use DVD Shrink to rip the movie to my hard drive, during the process I get a message that says, request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. I have 2 computers and it happens on both of them. I tried the same movie on a friends and the movie copied perfectly. So it is not the movie but something my computer have that's stopping it.

maybe the dvdrom dosnt like the disc? but try DVD Decrypter to rip!
