I see. Can't say I see much of the PC though, that cramped compartment must do wonders for airflow, I don't think! :DMy PC rests on the floor next to shelf where it "should" be, for airflow and being-able-to-see-it-properly reasons. My Subwoofer sits on that shelf now.

i got half a dozen PC's on the go now, dotted throughout the house, so it's a bit tricky to show "where i'm sat"; Got my wireless sorted so now i'm all over the place; right now, sat in conservatory a fair old way away from the new wireless router (Linksys (the second crappy inferior Belkin got taken back to the shop - i will never buy Belkin again)) and it's doing great. Even setup a Linux pc in the kitchen for my ma and got that wireless'd up too, she's loving it. Must sort out a new piccy of my setup one of these days

Yeah, it'd be interesting to see it/them, some of us only can afford/need one PC.

naw, most of the PC's are nothing special, just old machines rebuilt; when i lived afloat i only had room for the one (very small) PC, now i have room for loads of stuff so i'm just reviving what bits of kit i can , one's even an old Pentium 133 (MMX version) with an outrageous 64MB of RAM, but it's sufficient to run DSL (Damn Small Linux) that i tried out today for he first time and liked it a lot. Just need to find out how to get the wireless running in DSL Linux on this laptop which is why i'm sat out in the conservatory. oops battery is about to give out, better plug it in.
update- as luck would have it i found the missing part for my latest project. i needed a 100mb network card to get the P133 machine on the net. it's working a treat. What i might try next is a PCI wireless card in there, just for giggles. then i may well post a new pic. Don't expect neon lights or cutouts in the case for this particular machine, it was built in 1872 by Robert Louis Stevenson after all

wasn't sure if I uploaded the new pic of my pc since we moved....so here it is again...possibly.
Sorry about the poor quality. I'll replace this with a better pic when I manage to take one.
I also had to remove the pics from the tv and laptop coz they were really messing up the rest of the pic.

Found this quite amusing picture of the front of the case I use, courtesy of the OFFICIAL NZXT case gallery. How cool is that?
That's an interesting setup, the use of a cabinet. My PC sits, well I was going to say unceremoniously but that's not true, it's at an angle so it's visible, on the floor.

My setups are no match for some of the ones I saw on here already
Here is the crappy ol' downstairs computer I hate to use.
Notice it is the oldest IBM you'll ever see lol! plus someone has written all over the monitor with marker.
I'll be sure to post the newer on that I use at least 95% of the time when I post on afterDawn ASAP
BTW, I don't mind if you have a cheap laugh at my crappy computer lol
Big Thanks To Jamaal10!

The irony is, that's deceptive. It could have a 486 in it, it could have an X2 4800+. Cases like that can hide stuff. I'm not saying yours does, but my case is a bit of a giveaway that there's something quite rapid inside.

The only thing that case is hiding is a broken burner right under the CD-Rom drive behind a door lol

Just as I promised, here is my pic of the other computer!
Notice the card table it sits at, nothing but the best lol
As you can see it isnt the best but it gets the job done.
The quality is pretty bad cause I had to take it with my cell phone
Big Thanks To Jamaal10!
