s3a in order to transfer saves you need the program (Im pretty sure) that comes with Action Replay. And when you buy the program you get the memory card, so really if you want to do anything just save until you have enough money.
(Hey, is there a way to transfer game saves WITHOUT the Powersaves program? How if posible?)

When i load the Linux, it says EVOLUTIONX. i know thats a linux installer, and im trying to get the SID 4.0 off action replay but i think i did somthing to the mem card because whenever i drag it over to the card, it says ERROR WRITING THE SAVE. anyone know what to do other than getting a new action replay?

Dont unpack the individual files. In order to transfer each individual file (Splinter Cell NTSC for e.g.) it needs to be in .zip format.

im talking about draging and dropping from the action replay data base or online saves. also, i have WinRAR installed and i can't figure out how to uninstall it. i already have dot halo working but i can't open the maps i have downloaded because they're in the WinRAR archive. can anyone help?

Never mind that last message, turns out all i had to do is delete a corrupted file. @azzidrain, i just followed your tut using a platinum splinter cell and it worked. great work!

Paleo1 : if you get a temporarly error 21 when you try to load the linux then you got the wrong files or missing 1 of 2. no worries just need both of them again. you can download the software via its website then you can burn it to cd but why burn it just install it and make it work :D....
as always NO OTHER way w/out the ar kit or the GAME . means that you need the the and the files EACH AND EVERYTIME you want to mod an xbox. i dont know but this apllies too to s3a ...
and the platinum hits RARLY if not they dont work.... its always best to buy the non platinum... the games are cheap and the ar kit is a bit more but THEY PAY FOR IT SELF.. think about it how much you spend on buying your game from the store and it keeps on gettting scrach and you keep on buying it again? just back it up and keep the original in a safe place and enjoy the game.

k everyone I know how to do this without the ar and with a regulat mem card and a modded xbox (my brothers) using the udata folder on moded xbox then transfet to mem card then to unmodded xbox...but here is my problem on the first post in this thread...I download from 2 out of 3 sites (1 does not work) and they only contain the PAL version of sid 4 splinter cell game save...why??? I have the NTSC version of splinter cell and NTSC version of both xboxes...
Please help me find a NTSC save...

xbox hq has it... thats the soucre i cannot fix this thread since i did not make it . i dont think the entire udata fits in there... now why would you want to trasfer the entire udata? you just need the specfic path for the file you need.

Hi there.
Well, this question may have been asnwered earlier, if so, then apologies :)
Basically, I have been looking into softmodding my Xbox 9I think it's an earlier version) and I have an Xbox Live account which I use all the time. Now, I have read this guide (and what a v.nice guide it is!) thoroughly, and it seems fairly straightforward, the only thing for me to do, is shell out for action replay and splinter cell.
However, being a 15 old kid with only a £10 allowance.. this isn't so easy! So, I was wondering If I could use a memory card with conjunction with my friends (modded) xbox, and simply FTP the save to his xbox and load it on a standard Microsoft Xbox memory card, then take it to my own, transfer it to the HDD, and then use it with Splinter Cell. Also, can I bootup my Xbox backups of my games? Cheers

OK, so i got everything working,and i got meta into a few maps using dothalo. what i need to know is how to transfer the modded maps from my pc onto my xbox. my FTP client is FlashFXP and i already ordered it off iniCom. do i need to install it on my xbox first. im totally lost.

You install it on your PC, and connect to your Xbox so you can transfer files from your PC to your Xbox and vice versa.

Hey gus thanks for all of your help. I downloaded the AR poweresaves program right off of codejunkies.com itself. (LOL thats funny...) They give the download to you if your CD broke, and they dont have to worry about loosing money because you still need the memory card (Unless your regular memory card is compatible with the program!)
I have the softmod on my xbox (I put it on after I deleted Xbox live from my xbox just in case (I have the accounts on my 360 dont worry))
and everythings working great. Man I love mods. Lol! Thanks for all of your help though Gus and once again sorry bout before.

Mik3h as long as you can get your saves to your xbox in any way then the rest is all good. this softmod installer will work with any xbox version and its xbox live safe .

I asked the same thing and ya its possible...what you have to do is ftp your friends xbox to comp, transfer what you want to tranfer to mem card into ur friends xbox into the UDATA folder.
Then you go on the microsoft dashboard (and insert ur normal mem card) and copy it to mem card...

Alright, I've got a few questions about modding.
Why, in DotHalo, when I click on [matg] globals/globals tag for any map (halo 2 of course) it doesn't give me a single player/multiplayer option? Can you only change run speed for new maps or something? And how does this extract meta and inject meta work? I'm trying to inject a model into the [proj]'s. As in, move an elite model to the projectiles so that i can shoot out elite models. Why do only ppf patches work with auto aim? And is there some plugin that you have to download to be able to do most of the things that ppf patches do?
